UK Announces Winners of Inaugural Agentic AI Pioneers Prize

On August 29, 2026, Innovate UK announced the winners of the inaugural Agentic AI Pioneers Prize, which recognizes innovative AI systems addressing real-world challenges. Danu Insights was awarded the overall prize of £500,000 for its project, the Agentic Digital Twin Builder for the Life Sciences, designed to aid researchers in simulating biological processes and optimizing experiments. The Agentic AI Pioneers Prize was established in collaboration with the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT). Other winners included Singular Machine in the advanced manufacturing category, recognized for its CoEngen platform, and Tellme in the creative industries category for its adaptive museum experience solution.

The overall prize winner, Danu Insights, received substantial recognition for its contribution to health sciences, while the other winners each received £250,000.
