Good news, and true news.
Feel-good stories go viral easily — and fakes do too. So every story on Ahimsa.tv passes a layered credibility process before it earns its ✓ Verified badge.
The 5 credibility gates
A story has to pass every gate. Fail one, and it doesn't run.
- 1
Source check
Is there a traceable original source — a credible outlet, official organisation, or named person? If we can't find who first reported it, we don't publish.
- 2
Evidence check
We reverse-search every photo and video to make sure nothing is old, reused, or AI-generated, and that the details match the story.
- 3
Cross-reference
We confirm the story against two or more independent credible sources, or the organisation's own official channels.
- 4
Direct confirmation
For major or community stories, we contact the people and organisations involved to confirm the facts — and to get permission.
- 5
Editor sign-off
A senior editor makes the final call: accurate, on-brand, and free of violence or outrage before it ever reaches you.
A credibility score, not a gut feeling
Every story earns points for a traceable source, verified media, independent confirmation, and direct comment. Only stories that clear our threshold get published and carry the Verified badge.
If we ever get it wrong
We correct it openly and log the change. Trust is built by owning mistakes, not hiding them.
