Delhi government supports student startups with grants

The Delhi government has awarded equity-free seed grants of up to Rs 10 lakh each to six student-led startups during the Campus-to-Market: Delhi Startup Yuva Festival 2026. This initiative, which concluded on or before August 29, 2026, provides university, college, and school students with the funding needed to refine their products and launch pilot projects. The selected ventures cover a range of sectors, from defence and artificial intelligence (AI) to sustainability, highlighting the variety of ideas emerging from Delhi’s student population.

Led by the Department of Training & Technical Education in partnership with TiE Delhi-NCR, the Campus-to-Market initiative works to bridge the gap between academic study and commercial viability. By providing financial support, the program helps students turn their concepts into functional businesses. This support is intended to help develop a new generation of leaders in fields like technology and sustainable development.

Among the grant recipients are Biocare Ventures, AllSecureX, and HeliousAI. Each of these companies is developing solutions for specific industry challenges. Biocare Ventures focuses on environmentally friendly products, while AllSecureX works on enhancing security through advanced technology. These startups aim to address modern problems through their work, and the government funding is expected to help them scale their operations.

Beyond supporting individual businesses, the initiative strengthens the wider entrepreneurial landscape in Delhi.
