Global Young Innovators Challenge 2026 Announces Winning Teams

On September 3, 2026, the Global Young Innovators Challenge 2026 concluded at JBCN International School in Borivali, India. In partnership with SP Jain School of Global Management, the event attracted over 700 students from 42 schools across India and beyond. High school students in grades 9 to 12 participated in an entrepreneurship competition focused on innovation and sustainability. They developed viable solutions to real-world challenges and presented their projects in a format akin to startup pitches, highlighting their creativity and problem-solving abilities. The competition underscored the significance of sustainability, prompting young minds to think critically about pressing global issues. Teams were tasked with identifying specific problems and proposing innovative solutions that could be implemented effectively. This method not only fostered entrepreneurial skills among participants but also heightened awareness of sustainability and environmental responsibility. The projects were evaluated based on criteria such as creativity, feasibility, and potential impact, providing a rich learning experience for all involved.

Among the notable achievements of the event, Team Zenitech from Reliance Foundation School emerged as the winner of the challenge. Their project was recognized for its exceptional approach to sustainability, earning them a fully funded place at the SP Jain Singapore Summer School, valued at SGD 3,200. This opportunity allows the winning team to further their education and gain international exposure in a global learning environment, enhancing their entrepreneurial skills and knowledge. Additionally, the runners-up included Project Sustain X from MVN School and Project Change Trinity from JBCN Borivali. Each of these teams received full fee waivers for the SP Jain Mumbai Summer School Programme. This recognition highlights their innovative ideas and offers further educational opportunities to refine their projects and develop their skills within the entrepreneurial landscape.
